Once a search or render finishes, two panels manage your results: the Scenes panel (what the search found) and the run card (what’s currently on the Globe and how to re-run it).
The Scenes panel #
After Apply & Search, the Scenes panel lists every acquisition that matched your filters:
- Sort and narrow the list: sort by date or quality, filter by source, max clouds %, min AOI %, or by sun azimuth / zenith angles.
- Each scene shows its acquisition date with cloud and AOI-coverage chips, color-coded so the clean scenes stand out.
- Preview any scene before committing — the preview is always true color, regardless of the insights you selected, so you can confirm it’s the right acquisition without rendering. Each scene’s full metadata is also a click away.
- Select one or more scenes, then choose an action: Visualize (one layer), Visualize separately (one layer per scene, ideal for comparing dates), Visualize as Mosaic (combine the selection), Changes (compare two scenes against each other) or Download — a direct export, no visualization needed, including the raw data option: every band of the scene clipped to your Area of Interest, without any insights applied.
The run card #
Every render produces a run card — the summary and control center of the active layer:
- What it shows: the insight or stack rendered, the instrument, the scene’s metadata (date, cloud, coverage…), and an Opacity slider for the layer.
- Images — the scenes that took part in this run. For a single-scene run, hit ▶ on any listed image to swap the view to it. For a mosaic, the list shows every contributing acquisition with its cloud chip, and the ✕ removes a bad one and rebuilds the composite.
- Quick re-search — change the date range right on the card and Apply date range to repeat the same analysis on a different period. More filters takes you back to the full Filter Imagery panel.
- Save as stack — when the run used several insights, save that combination for reuse.
- Visualize again re-renders the current configuration (the button shows Rendering… while it works).
Editing and re-running #
The sliders icon on the run card (Edit and rerun this workflow) reopens the stepper with everything pre-loaded — change the area, instrument, insights or filters, then render again. Back to result returns to the card without re-running.
Below the card #
The result panel’s footer gives one-click access to Metadata, AOI DATA, the Analytical Tools and the Insights Sandbox.
AOI DATA deserves a special mention — it’s the accordion that connects the render to your site data:
- Area & coverage — which Area this run used and how much of it the scene covers.
- Terrain — the Area’s DEM source, the active Globe layers, and the Hillshadow mask toggle: for single scenes it uses the sun’s azimuth/zenith at capture (shown right there) plus the elevation model to mask terrain shadows.
- Display — toggles to show the area outline and its labels on the Globe, a Create zone button to draw a new Zone right over the result, and Focus area to re-center.
Also on the completed steps themselves: the Area step card gains a database icon to toggle your geochemical sample points on the Globe, and a layers icon to toggle the Area’s geophysical layers — see Zones, Geochemical & Geophysical Data.
