How to Upload a Spectral Signature

Step-by-Step Guide #

  1. Navigate to the Graph Icon located in the header (left corner). This will open the Spectral Signatures window.
  2. Click the Upload Signature button.
  3. Choose the files containing your spectral data. The files should include reflectance values associated with specific wavelengths.
  4. Select the Material Type from the dropdown (e.g., mineral, rock, vegetation, man-made).
  5. Click Save to upload your signature to the platform.

File Requirements #

  • Format: TXT or similar structured file.
  • Content:
    • Wavelengths (in nm or μm) with corresponding reflectance values (in 0-1 or 0–100%)
    • Metadata with name as a required property (non-sensitive capitals). It can include more metadata, but it is not required.
  • Example:
