Logging In, SSO & Password Reset

1 min read

Remote Miner is used by companies with a platform licence. Admin accounts are created by YNSAT; every other user account is created by your company’s administrator.

Getting your account #

When your administrator creates your user, you automatically receive an email with your credentials and a temporary password. Sign in with it and set your own password.

If you belong to a company that already uses Remote Miner but you never received credentials, your administrator may simply not have added you yet — ask the person who manages Remote Miner in your company to create your user.

Logging in with username and password #

  1. Open the platform login page.
  2. Enter your Username and Password.
  3. Click Login. The platform loads and takes you to the Globe.

Your session is shared across the Remote apps: once logged in, you won’t need to sign in again to move between products your company has licensed.

Logging in with corporate SSO #

If your company uses Single Sign-On, you don’t need a YNSAT password:

  1. On the login page, click the SSO login button instead of the normal login.
  2. Authenticate with your corporate credentials as usual.
  3. You will briefly see a “Completing SSO login” screen, then land on the Globe.

The first time you sign in via SSO, your platform account is linked automatically to your corporate identity. If you see an error about your email already being in use, contact your administrator — your existing account may belong to a different company setup.

Resetting your password #

  1. On the login page, click “Forgot your password?”.
  2. Enter the email address of your account (e.g. you@company.com) and submit. You will receive a 6-digit verification code by email.
  3. On the Verify Your Code screen, enter the code and click Verify Code.
The code expires after 10 minutes.
You have 5 attempts; after that, request a new code.
  4. On the Reset Password screen, enter your New Password, confirm it, and submit.
  5. Use Back to Login and sign in with your new password.
📷 Screenshot pending — the three reset steps side by side (email → code → new password).

Troubleshooting #

  • No credentials email? Check spam first, then confirm with your administrator that your user was created with the right email address.
  • No reset-code email? Check spam, and confirm you entered the email your account was created with.
  • SSO loop or error page? Your corporate session may have expired — close the tab, sign in to your company portal first, then try again.
  • Locked out entirely? Contact your company administrator (they can reset accounts) or info@ynsat.com.
