Anything you build in Remote Miner can be saved as a workflow and re-run with one click. A workflow is your complete visual workflow — the Area, the Instrument, the Insights and the filters — and, if you recorded them, the analytical steps you applied on top. They all live under Workflows in the left rail.
Saving a workflow #
Render something worth keeping, then save it from the workflow panel: give it a name in the save dialog and it appears in your Workflows list, labelled with its area and instrument.
Recording analytical steps #
If you want the workflow to replay your enhancements too:
- Render your Visual and open Active layer analytics.
- Apply your enhancements — stretching, classification, thresholds, masks — and use Add to workflow to record each step the workflow should replay.
- Save with a name. If you haven’t recorded any steps yet, the panel reminds you to add enhancements from the analytical tools first.
Re-running #
Open Workflows in the rail and click any entry — the platform re-executes it on the spot: same area, same instrument, same insights, same filters, and any recorded analytical steps in the same order. It’s the fastest way to repeat a monthly check or hand a teammate a reproducible analysis.
Good to know #
- Workflows re-run against the imagery that matches the saved filters at run time — if new scenes arrived since you saved, the result reflects them. That’s the point: same recipe, fresh data.
- Keep names operational (
BHEX_pit_bareearth_monthly) — after ten workflows, “Test 3” tells you nothing. - A workflow isn’t frozen: re-run it, add more steps with Add to workflow, and save the enriched version.
