To set up a new alert, follow these steps:
- Click on the Antenna icon located in the header. This will open the Alerts System window.
- Click on the Set Up New Alert button.
- Choose the type of alert you want to create:
- iMAD (Iterative Multivariate Alteration Detection)
- Segmentation
- Insight-Based
- Complete the required fields and select the necessary options as specified below.
1. Scope Setup #
For all alert types, you must first define the Area of Interest (AOI) that you want to monitor.
2. Configuration #
- For iMAD and Segmentation Alerts:
- Choose the frequency of monitoring (how often the system will run the alert check).
- For Insight-Based Alerts:
- Choose the frequency of monitoring.
- Choose the reference period (Defines the baseline timeframe used to gather images for comparison. The platform uses this period to establish what is considered normal).
- Set the tolerance margin (acceptable variation before triggering an alert).
- Percentage: The system will trigger an alert when the change exceeds or falls below the selected percentage compared to the reference period
- Absolute Margin: A fixed value that triggers the alert when the insight surpasses (or falls below) a specific level. The reference period is still required, as the threshold does not affect areas already above or below that value.
- Define the tolerance condition (threshold criteria for generating alerts).
3. Details #
For all alert types, finalize the setup by specifying:
- Notification Type: Choose between push notifications (they appear on your account) or email alerts.
- Alert Name: Provide a name for easy identification.
- Description (Optional): Add any additional details to clarify the alert’s purpose.
Once all details are configured, confirm the setup to activate your alert.
